Our doors are still opened for reconciliation, PDP’s G-5 Governors tell Atiku

The five Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors under the banner of G-5 have rekindled the hope of the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by disclosing that the door is still opened for possible reconciliation towards the success of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike who led three of his colleagues to a meeting with Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state, said they were in the state to identify with the Governor.
Briefing journalists at Ramat House Bauchi, Governor Wike assured Governor Bala Mohammed of their unflinching support towards his re-election bid.
He said that the door for reconciliation is still opened in the PDP as the party stands for fairness, equity and justice.
The G-5 Governors comprising of Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, Samuel Ortom (Benue); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), said part of purpose of their visit to Bauchi was to express solidarity to Bala Mohammed ahead 2023.
It no longer news that Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Samuel Ortom, Okezie Ikpeazu and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Governors of Rivers, Oyo, Benue, Abia and Enugu states respectively have since formed a potent alliance against Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa ticket, threatening to swing votes against the party unless the National Chairman of their party, iyorchia Ayu resigns.
According to Governor Wike, the G-5 Governors are in the state to fraternize and have never closed the door to anyone who wants to reconcile with them.
“We have never closed the door for reconciliation, that is all we are saying, for equity, justice and fairness, that is the Hall-mark of what the party stands for”, the G-5 Governors said.
Wike while insisting that the right thing need to be done said, “if the rigth thing is done, you will see how the country will know that the election is over”.
Governor Wike who described the G-5 Governors as the bedrock of the PDP, reiterated that the group has not close its door for reconciliation.
“We are in for reconciliation any day, anytime”, the G-5 Governors disclosed.
