Aminu Saleh education college appoints Babaji as Registrar

Abdullahi Babaji of Academic Division of the Registry Department of Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare in Bauchi state has been appointed as Registrar of the Institution.

The appointment letter which was signed by the Provost of the college, Professor Asabe Sadiya Mohammed indicated that, Babaji’s appointment is for an initial period of five years beginning from 23rd March, 2023 – 22nd March, 2028.

Dated 27th March, 2023, the appointment letter said Babaji’s appointment followed his successful performance during an interview conducted on 1st March, 2023 by the Establishment Committee of the Institution’s Governing Council.

“The 8th Governing Council of the College at its 9th Meeting held on 23rd March, 2023 approved your appointment as the Registrar of the Aminu Saleh College of
Education, Azare”, the appointment letter read in parts.

“This followed your successful performance in the interview
conducted on 1¹ March, 2023 by the Establishment Committee of the Council”, it added.

“I am therefore, pleased to write on behalf of the Council and convey to you the approval of your appointment as the Registrar of the College for an initial tenure of five (05) years with effect from 23 March, 2023 – 22nd March,
2028″, the college said in the appointment letter.

According to Prof. Asabe, the appointment of Babaji as the Registrar is in line with the powers conferred on the Council in section 11 (c) of the College law and sec. 2.9, sub. sec. 2.9.1 of the Conditions of Service for Colleges
of Education in Nigeria (NCCE Harmonized) 2015 edition.

“The Terms and Conditions of Service including remunerations and fringe benefits shall be as provided for in the Conditions of Service for Colleges of
Education in Nigeria (2015) applicable to principal officers”, the letter explained.

It further informed Babaji that the appointment demonstrates the reposed confidence of the Council which is
to be reciprocated by putting in his positive contributions and sacrifice towards
the overall development of the institution.
