Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board conducts training workshop for intending pilgrims

The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has organized its annual train the trainers workshop aimed at creating awareness to the intending pilgrims in the state on the rules and guidelines of the hajj rites.
This statement was made by the Secretary to the state Government, Barrister Ibrahim Muhammed kashim at Kofar Fada central mosque in Bauchi while declaring the workshop open.
The SSG who was represented by the special adviser to the Governor on hajj matters, Alh. Usman Muhammad Saleh expressed the state government’s readiness towards the success of the exercise.
He said that all arrangement has been concluded for the smooth conduct of the sacred exercise.
The special adviser noted that the training was organized to further enlighten the intending pilgrims on the rules and regulations of the Commission and that of Saudi Arabia.
He urged the trainers to be patient and tolerant with their trainees to ensure its success.
On his part, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh. Imam Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris attributed the inability of the Board to conduct such training last year to challenges faced during the preparation of the training.
He said that the challenges prompted the state Government to be committed towards ensuring Free and Fair hajj exercise.
He further appreciated the proprietors of different enlightenment centers across the state for their tireless efforts, promising to ensure Continued collaboration to achieve the desired objectives of the training.
Imam Ibrahim Idris who informed that the National hajj commission (NAHCON) has closed its portable, said that the Board in Bauchi has also stoped further collection of Hajj fares from intending pilgrims.
Recalled that enlightenment centers were established in 2005 aimed at Creating awareness for the intending pilgrims from the state on the rules and regulations guiding the Hajj commission as well as that of Saudi Arabia.
