Former Adamawa state Governor, Barrister Bala James Nggilari has on Friday paid an unscheduled visit to elder-statesman, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai at his residence.
Barrister Nggilari said that the purpose of the visit was to pay homage and fetch from the immense wealth of experience endowed in the elder-statesman.
“I visited Baba, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai without even knowing that it was exactly the same day 6 years ago being 14th of July 2017 that I made a similar visit”, he said.
According to him, the elder-statesman remains a wonderful man and a legend to behold even at the ripe age of 99.
“In Baba, I saw a sharp, strong and a witty man, a nationalist Par Excellence”, the Ex-Adamawa state Governor wrote in his Facebook page.
Barrister Nggilari who described the visit as a privilege for him to meet the nonagenarian again, said it is a clear understanding that the Nigerian dream is unparalleled.
The former Governor described the elder-statesman as an avowed and unrepentant believer in the Tinubu/Shettima presidency as the road map to the future.
“May you live long Sir, and may the good Lord continue to endow you with good health and peace of mind”,: Barrister Nggilari prayed.
“May we (your protégés) continue to draw from your fountain of wisdom, knowledge and experience for the greater good of our country Nigeria in Jesus Name”, he concluded.
