A score sheet of a silent achiever, Reps Abubakar Kani Faggo

There is no iota of doubt that some leaders are borned silent achievers, this assertion can best suit the leadership style of Hon. Abubakar Kani Faggo, a house of representatives member for Shira/Giade in Bauchi state.
A score sheet of Hon Kani discreetly obtained from an anonymous source revealed a lot of developmental projects and Programmes carried out by the lawmaker who is into his first tenure of representation.
“During the period under review, I presented 3 petitions on behalf of citizens of Bauchi state who were unlawfully dismissed from the Nigerian Army and their cases are being reviewed”, a portion of the score sheet revealed.
On the education sector, the lawmaker has been able to facilitate the construction of a block of 6 classrooms, equipped with modern furniture in Faggo, Zubo and Tumfafi in Shira local government as well as Doguwa in Giade local government area of Bauchi state.
In addition to that, blocks of two and three classrooms were constructed in Babaji Kafi Primary school, Govt day comprehensive secondary school and Bombiyo primary school, all in Giade local government.
The lawmaker has also renovated a block of two classrooms with modern furniture at Bukul primary school in addition to fencing of Faggo central primary school with modern gate-house.
Hon. Kani has also provided scholarship to 100 students of University of Maiduguri, SDI Ningi and Aminu Saleh college of education Azare, in addition to settling of NECO registration fees for the 2021 candidates of govt day junior secondary school Faggo.
In the area of electricity, Hon Kani Faggo has facilitated the provision of A 2.5MVA Sub-station transformers in Saddau, Ajangara, Guddu and Jatan communities.
The reps member has in collaboration with Bauchi state assembly member representing Disina constituency, activated the township electricity line in Sawi town in 2020.
In order to ensure that the people of his constituency enjoy potable water, Hon Kani provided and installed solar powered streetlights in Shira, Giade, Disina, Faggo, Isawa and Gagidiba, reactivation of 8km Zigau – Bukul National grid line in 2019 and 2020.
He also facilitated the construction of solar powered boreholes with 12,000 litre capacity overhead tank at Chinkani, Kilbori, Zabi, Sambowal, Sabon Sara, Kurba, Bangire, Tsaffi, Dango and Disina communities.
Apart from the numerous interventions, Hon Kani also facilitated the drilling of 46 hand-pump boreholes in Kafin Gara, Dago, Tahafizul Qur’an Islamiyya school Giade, Divisional police office Yana, Nigeria Correctional center Shira, township graveyard Yana, Abunari, Nahuchen Faggo, Giade unguwar Senegal, Digarun Gabas, Alkaleri village, Adaha village, among others.
