After PDP primaries, Reps aspirant, Lawal concedes defeat, pledges support for Magaji

In the spirit of sportsmanship, Hon. Samuel Lawal has conceded losing his bid to fly the PDP ticket for Bogoro Dass and Tafawa Balewa federal constituency in Bauchi state to his rival, Barrister Kefas Magaji.
Hon. Samuel Lawal who also holds the traditional title of Danmalikin Dass, in a press statement vowed to work together with the winner of the primary election as a team for the best interest of the party.
Hon. Lawal who attested that the primary election was conducted peacefully,
urged his loyalists to support the winner to demonstrate good faith toward promoting Unity and understanding between members of the party.
According to him the defeat has placed him in a good and better position to embark on his humanitarian service to the people of his constituency irrespective of gender, ethnic or religious inclinations.
He commended the state Governor, Senator Bala Muhammed and the leadership of the party for given them the opportunity to contest the election.
Hon. Lawal also advised politicians to accept defeat and demonstrate patriotism, adding that the lives of the people, the stability of our democracy and the peace of the society are more important than personal interest.
Hon. Samuel Lawal while congratulating his counterpart, Barrister Kefas Magaji for winning the primary election, promised to work together to ensure his victory in the coming 2023 general elections.
He equally appealed to members of the PDP to forget their differences and remained focus ahead of the general elections.
