APC’s Sadique rekindles supporters’ hope, says he’ll reclaim victory at the tribunal

Loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi state have been assured that the defeat suffered at the 18th March Governorship polls will be upturned in favor of their candidate, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar by the courts.
The assurance was given by the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar shortly after his arrival to the state at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi Monday.
The Guber candidate urged his supporters who had besieged the Airport to receive him not to lose hope over the outcome of the March governorship election held in the state.
Abubakar who further assured them of his readiness to legally fight to reclaim his mandate at the election tribunal, expressed confidence in the capability of the judiciary to retrieve his mandate which he said was stolen.
“We have hope in God and the Judiciary to retrieve our stolen mandate in sha Allah. I want to believe that the judicial system of Nigeria is reliable, and I am sure that at the end of the day, we get back our mandate”, the gubernatorial candidate said.
According to him, once the mandate is retrieved, his administration will commence the implementation of the promises made to the people of Bauchi state in earnest.
Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar who pointed out that the APC will continue to remain the political party to beat not only in Bauchi state but across the country, appealed to the party supporters to remain committed and supportive of the party at all levels.
Sadique who expressed gratitude to the members of the APC in Bauchi State for their patience and understanding, urged them to continue to be patient and hopeful.
Sadique Abubakar who reiterated his readiness to legally fight to reclaim his mandate with proves at the tribunal, insisted that his party, the APC won the gubernatorial election.
