Speaking during PDP campaign rally in Darazo local government area of the state, Mai Takalmin Roba said his decision to jettison his gubernatorial ambition and joined the PDP was to assist in ensuring successful victory of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President, Governor Bala Mohammed and all the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The former APM gubernatorial candidate urged his supporters and well wishers across the 20 local government areas of the state to immediately declare their support to the incumbent governor because of his performance in the delivery of devidends of democracy.
On her part, Amina Manga said APC in Bauchi lacks focus and political experience to defeat the incumbent governor, Bala Mohammed of the ruling PDP, hence her decision to dumped her party to the ruling PDP.
She said Governor Bala Mohammed has done well in the execution of developmental projects since assumption of office and solicited for votes for the governor to win his reelection to enable him continue to execute more people’s oriented projects.
Amina Manga warned women and youth against voting APC candidates, adding that the APC has failed to deliver on its campaign promises of lifting Nigerians out of poverty, hunger, unemployment among others.
Governor Bala Mohammed who received the defectors, assured them of a level playing ground to enable them contribute positively towards ensuring the victory of all the PDP candidates in the upcoming elections.
