Bauchi Gov constructs classrooms block for Daben Community in 3 weeks to encourage school enrollment

In its determination to encourage child enrollment in schools, Bauchi State Government has within just three weeks, constructed a classrooms block constructed block at Daben Kasa in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of the State.
Our Corresspondent gathered that, over fifteen similar completed and ongoing projects across the Local Government Area have also been achieved.
The projects are being carried out under the Education Development Initiative of Governor Bala Mohammed led administration in the state.
Speaking during the handing over of the project in the community, the Village Head of Daben Kasa, Ibrahim Shehu said the classrooms block will encourage enrollment of more pupils into schools.
While describing the gesture as timely, Shehu promised to educate the community on the need to take ownership of the structure and guard it against vandalism.
Also commenting, the Head Master of the School, Musa Muhammad Mante said the before the project pupils were studying under the tree.
He therefore, called on the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to provide them with more teachers and instructional materials.
The Project Supervisor, Faruq Umar explained that the project executed include teachers and headmaster’s offices as well as furnitures.
While commending the contracting firm ‘Sams Engineering Limited’ for providing a borehole as part of its corporate social responsibility, the project supervisor promised to ensure strict adherence to contract specification in all the projects being handled by his firm.
