Bauchi Reps member, Gwalabe trains over 150 constituents in mechanize farming

The member representing Katagum local government in the Nigerian House of Representatives, Honourable Auwalu Audu Gwalabe has trained over 150 people from his constituency in mechanize farming.
The Lawmaker while speaking in a telephone conversation with our Corresspondent concerning the event organized to present certificate of participation and distribution of starter packs for the beneficiaries on Thursday, said the gesture was in line with his campaign promises which includes training and empowerment of the electorates.
Hon Gwalabe expressed hope that the beneficiaries would used the empowerment packages as capital for farming.
He assured his constituents that the gesture was just a beginning, as more democracy dividends are coming underway.
“If you recall last two months we organised not less than six programs in Azare that touches the life of common man in typical remote areas in my constituency”, he said.
The house of representatives member added: “I assure you more are coming, we want prayers and advices from our people to continue touching their lives positively”.
The starter packs distributed to the beneficiaries include, Fertilizer, sprayer machine, insecticides powder, pump machine and cash not less than 15,000 thousand naira each.
Also speaking, the Special guest at the occasion, Dr Muhammad Yushau who is the program Chairman Gwaram congratulated the beneficiaries and the entire people of Katagum for having a competent person as their representative.
According to him, the federal Lawmaker deserve accolades, particularly at this period of serious economic challenges.
While advising the beneficiaries to make good use of the starter packs and the skills acquired for their own good, Dr. Muhammad commend honourable Gwalabe for distributing the equipment irrespective of party differences.
In his speech chairman of the occasion, Abba Magaji Madara cautioned the beneficiaries against selling the farming tools but use it to free themselves from economic hardship.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mal, Adamu Aliyu appreciated the effort of Hon Gwalabe, assuring of their readiness to make use of the items and create wealth for themselves and the society.
