Chigari Foundation partners NMA to offer free emergency medical outreach in Bauchi

Chigari Foundation, a brain child of the Honorable Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate has unveiled plans to carry out a Medico-Surgical outreach within Bauchi Metropolis.

A statement from the foundation on Thursday stressed that the initiative is in collaboration with the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Bauchi State Chapter.

“In Shaa Allah the services to be offered include General, Paediatric and Gynaecological surgeries for about 100 patients, Cataract Surgeries for 20 patients, Eye consultantations, refraction, and distribution medications & glasses.

Other services are; dental consultations, medications and day procedures, ENT consultations, medications and day procedures, Ultrasound Radiological services and Paediatric consultations and treatment.

Others, according to the statement, involved Obstetrics and gynecological consultations and treatments, General male and female outpatient services, Laboratory services, Nutritional counseling services and education as well as Pharmaceutical services.

The statement added that the outreach will be held at Emir’s palace Bauchi, Kobi Primary school and Tirwun secondary school, Tirwun ward.

It explained that the date of screening and selection of surgical cases will commence on Thursday 24th October 2024 at the above mentioned locations and that the main outreaches and consultations will be held on Saturday 26th October 2024 from 8am in the 3 locations.

The foundation announced that the Screened and selected Surgical cases will be undertaken in hospitals to be communicated to the patients.

The statement which said all the above will be offered centrally at the Emir’s palace with most at the other centers, prayed Allah to reward all those that contributed to the success of this initiative abundantly.
