Easter: Bauchi Speaker Felicitates With Christians, Urges Them To Emulate Virtues Of Jesus

Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman has sent felicitations to Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations, urged them emulate the life and virtues of Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) by devoting to God, building peace and extending hands of brotherhood and love to all.

The Speaker in a message to all Christians in Bauchi State and the Country at large issued by his media aide, Mal. Abdul Ahmad Burra, said that the Easter period is a crucial time for every Christian to thank Almighty God, seek forgiveness and pray for self, Bauchi State and the Country at large.

The Speaker attributed successful conduct of the 2023 general election in Nigeria to the fervent prayers embarked upon of by both Christians and Muslims all over the country, hoping that such fervent prayers will be sustained so that the elected leaders will have God guidance to deliver accordingly.

He assures all Christians in the State that the Bauchi State House of Assembly will continue to make legislations and quality representation for the best interest of the people of the State irrespective of their religion or section.

While praying for a happy and hitch free Easter celebrations, the Speaker thanks Christian community in the State for its contribution in peace building and national development.
