Eid-el-Kabir: Deputy Governor Jatau Facilitates With Muslims Ummah, Calls For Sober-Reflection

The deputy Governor of Bauchi State Rt Hon. Auwal Mohamed Jatau has facilitated with the State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir and the entire Muslim Ummah in the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration.
In a eid-el- Kabir message to the people issued by Sani Muazu Ilelah, Press Secretary deputy Governor’s office and made available to journalists in Bauchi yesterday, urged Muslims in the state to consider the period for sober-reflection on their activities.
Jatau also called on the people of the state to remain calm and conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the Eid-el Kabir festivities as well as to pray for peace and stability of Nigeria and Bauchi State in particular
Rt. Hon. Auwal Mohammed Jatau, called on the people of the state, irrespective of religious backgrounds, to pray for peace, stability, and pray for adequate rainfall to have a bumper harvest.
The deputy Governor used the period to pray for peace and tranquility of the state and the country, and called on the people to continue to be law abiding to constituted authorities.
Deputy Governor Jatau congratulated the State Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir for having the Eid-el-Kabir Sallah in the Holyland, and wished him and all Bauchi state pilgrims for a successful and hitch free pilgrimage.
Rt. Hon. Auwal Mohammed Jatau reiterates his total support and loyalty to the State Governor Sen. Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir in his quest to uplift the living standard of people through the provision of infrastructural facilities.
“I urge all Muslims to pray for peace. I would also like to call on the good people of the State to live in peace and harmony with one another in spite of their ethnic, religious or political differences,” he said.
