Eid-el- Kabir: Gombe APC Excited As Governor Inuwa Disburses N114 Million to Youths And Women Across 114 wards of the State

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Gombe State has expressed delight at Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s generosity in dolling out the sum of 114 million naira to youths and women across the 114 wards of the State to enable them prepare for the Eid-Kabir sallah celebration with ease.

The APC Chairman, Mr Nitte Amangal gave the commendation at the State’s party Secretariat while interacting with the press shortly after a meeting.

He noted that the gesture was part of governor Inuwa Yahaya’s resolve of bringing succour to the common man at times of need such as festive periods.

He emphasized that this gesture is specifically for youths and women while the general Sallah package is underway.

Mr. Nitte Amangal believes the gesture will ease the difficulty many face during celebrations, especially youths and women.

” A festive period like Eid-Kabir requires sacrifice of animals and no doubt the welfare package approved by the governor will help significantly in supporting the beneficiaries meet the ritual obligations” .

Mr Amangal pledged transparency in the disbursement process.

While shedding light on the disbursement formula, the APC Publicity Secretary, Moses Kyari told the press that the party will abide by the governor’s directive of selecting 100 persons from each of the 114 wards across the State for onward disbursement to the identified beneficiaries at all levels.

He explained that the Governor directed the party to select one hundred people from the one hundred and forteen wards across the state excluding party executive to benefit from the gesture.

Mr Kyari called on Gombe citizens to rally round Governor Inuwa Yahaya- led APC government for them to continue to enjoy democracy dividends.
