Election: NMA is our common political party, let’s respect one another – Sec. Gen hopeful, Dr. Ben says

A contestant for the position of Secretary General at the National body of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Ben Egbo has called for calm among his fellow contestants and supporters ahead of the Saturday (tomorrow’s) election into various offices of the association.
Dr. Egbo who also called for mutual respect among all the contestants seeking various positions in the association to avoid utterances that is capable of causing division in the association in the name of election.
Dr. Egbo who is also the Medical Director of Potiskum Medical Center in Yobe state, made the call in a short interview with our Correspondent Friday morning.
“I am appealing to my supporters and fellow contestants to approach the election with maturity. There should be no use of insulting words, let us have mutual respect for each other because before the election, during the election and after the election”, he said.
The Sec. Gen contestant reasoned that, even after the election tomorrow, all the contestants, their supporters and the entire members will still remain brothers and sisters in one medical association.
“This election shouldn’t be a do or die affair, we all belong to one political party, and that party is call Nigeria Medical Association”, he concluded.
