Garba Muhammad lauds CDS, Nasir for quick response Terror Group in Kebbi

Garba Muhammad, leading contender for the position of national president of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, has commended Lt. Christopher Musa, Chief of Defense Staff, CDS, Nasir Idris Kebbi Governor for their swift intervention in Lakurawa invasion.

Comrade Muhammad said that the Governor’s swift response had ensured that casualties in the attacks were kept to a minimum.

He further called on all security agencies to intensify efforts to eliminate the challenges of the Lakurawas and all other terrorist groups operating in Nigeria.

“Governor Nasir and the quick intervention of the CDS ensured that casualties were minimized, and we are sure that these bandits will be rounded up very soon.”

It would be recalled that the Nigeria Army headquarters had recently alerted the government and the nation of a new Terror Group in the North Western part of the country especially states of Sokoto, and Kebbi and Even promised to degrade it soon on the orders of the president.
