Globe FM Staff Elected As NUJ Zonal Secretary

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Globe FM Bauchi Chapel congratulated one of its members Mr Abubakar Musa Waziri who emerged Zonal Secretary of Zone E in the just concluded National Delegates Conference held in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

A statement by the Secretary of the Chapel, Murtala Muhammad said Abubakar Waziri’s victory did not come as a surprise considering his leadership qualities and enormous contribution to the Union.

The statement urged the new Zone E Secretary to put his vast experience to bear, reaffirming its confidence in him to deliver on the responsibility bestowed on him.

Before his election Abubakar Waziri served as the Treasurer in the Bauchi State Council of the NUJ before his elevation as National Ex- Officio of the union.

The Chapel assures of its unweaving support to enable him succeed in the new task.
