Gov Bala re-appoints rtd Air Comdr. Gamawa as DG BAROTA

Bauchi state Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has reappointed retired Air Commodore Ahmed Tijjani Baba Gamawa as the Director General of Bauchi Road Traffic Agency (BAROTA) with immediate effect.
In the appointment letter addressed to Gamawa dated 9th September 2024, the Governor stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.
The letter said Gamawa’s reappointment was informed by his track record of sincerity, hard work, dedication, exemplary behaviour
and above all, his wealth of experience and sense of responsibility.
“I am pleased to convey the approval of Sen. Bala Abdulkadir
Mohammed, CON, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for your appointment as
Director General, Bauchi Road Traffic Agency (BAROTA)”, the letter which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim said.
The letter tasked Gamawa to utilize the aforementioned qualities in facing the challenges of his new office so as to
facilitate the attainment of collective vision and goals of bringing about positive change
and new lease of life to the people of Bauchi State.
The letter added that the remuneration of the newly appointed DG of the BAROTA will be based on the existing Government Circular and other relevant rules of the public Service as may be amended from time to time.
“While congratulating you on this well-deserved re-appointment, I wish to request you to indicate your acceptance of this appointment or otherwise to enable continuation with further necessary action”, the letter said.
If advised the appointee to declare his assets at the Code of Conduct Bureau Bauchi Office, being a Constitutional requirement on assumption of office.
