Governor Bala reiterates commitment to fight against insecurity in Bauchi

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has reiterated his administration’s commitment to the war against insecurity in the state.
Bala who made this known in a goodwill message to the citizens of Bauchi state on the occasion of 62 years independent anniversary of Nigeria, added that the state government has been collaborating with the security agencies in ensuring that the citizens and their property remained protected.
“As you are aware, there is spate of insecurity across the country in the form of banditry, kidnapping and other violent crimes”, Bala said
According to him, as a responsible and responsive Government, the state government under his leadership has taken measures in collaboration with security agencies to protect the lives and property of the citizens.
He said that measure has ensured swift response towards addressing any form of security challenge.
“I want to assure you that security would continue to be top on our priority so that the relative peace being enjoyed in the State is sustained”, the Governor noted.
Bala said that the state government has executed several projects in the areas of Education, Health, Housing, Agriculture, Water and power Supply and Poverty alleviation.
“Government has been constructing Rural and Urban roads network across the State. Some of these roads are on-going, while most of them have been completed and put to use”, the Governor said.
According to the governor, the projects are being executed in line with the mandate given to his administration by the people of Bauchi state.
He added that the state government is making efforts to provide the necessary infrastructure needed for the development of the State.
