Group Commends Senator Buba For Distribution 30 Trailers Of Rice, Fertilizer To Mitigate Economic Hardship

North East Youth Ambassadors, a political pressure group has tasked senators in the Upper Legislative Chamber of the National Assembly to emulate Senator Shehu Buba Umar representing Bauchi South senatorial district in the provision of democracy dividends to constituents.
The zonal chairman of the group, Mallam Haruna Mohammed who threw the challenge, recalled that there wasn’t a time since the advent of the nation’s nascent democracy from 1999 to date when a senator provided such enormous democracy dividends like the one Senator Buba Umar is doing now.
Malam Haruna Mohammed in a chart with newsmen in Bauchi Thursday, disclosed that Senator Buba has just finished distributing twelve trailers of fertilizer to farmers in his constituents.
He also revealed that another batch of 20 trailer lorry of rice are arriving in Bauchi and started distribution not only to the electorates, but also to the most vulnerable people generally in a move to mitigate the current economic challenges faced by residents.
Mohammed further explained that the Bauchi South Senator is distributing the democracy dividends not only in his constituency, but to the entire people of the state.
According to him, the Senator is making the fertilizer readily available to his constituents to boost agricultural production, and facilitate the attainment of food security for the state and county at large.
“There wasn’t a time in the political history of the Northeast geo-political zone when a senator of Shehu Buba Umar’s ilk provided democracy dividends as he is now doing.
Malam Haruna Mohammed therefore appealed to the people, especially the electorates in the state to rally round the representation of Senator Shehu Buba Umar in uplifting their living standard generally.
