Humanitarian Gesture: North East Youth Tasks Wealthy Individuals To Emulate Bala Wunti

The North East Youth Ambassadors, a Non-governmental organization, has called on affluence public officers and civil servants at both state and federal level to emulate Dr. Bala Wunti regarding his humanitarian gestures in the society in Bauchi state.
The group zonal chairman, Comrade Haruna Usman Muhammad said, “I am calling on all indigenes of Bauchi state who are holding appointive offices at local, state and federal levels to emulate Alh. Bala Wunti in his humanitarian gestures to the people of Bauchi state”.
Malam Haruna Muhammad noted with delight that despite Bala Wunti is not a politician and neither involved himself in partisan politics, he has been helpful to the people of Bauchi state, especially during Ramadan and festive periods where he provides people with basic necessities of life.
These humanitarian gestures, according to the Ambassadors Chief, are apart from taking the responsibility of people’s children to schooling in Bauchi, nationwide, and even abroad, as well as various other means of promoting the livelihood of people generally.
“Bala Wunti recently provided a number of trailer lorries loaded with rice and fertilizer which were distributed to people across the length and breadth of Bauchi. He also assists in other ways of uplifting the living standard of people”.
Malam Haruna Muhammad disclosed that Bala Wunti is presently constructing a health centre in Bauchi, as he constructed the most standard and befitting mosque in the entire Northeast in Bauchi metropolis.
According to him, one cannot estimate or enumerate the number of persons in Bauchi Bala Wunti footing their medical treatments in the state.
“Bala Wunti as a public-spirited individual doesn’t even want any publicity on any of his humanitarian activity, but we have to say it for the sake of those of his ilk in the society to emulate”, Muhammad said.
Muhammad wondered that Bauchi state has the likes of Bala Wunti, and even surpass him in terms of well-to-do or richness, but we’re regrettably lacks helping hands or not bothered to assist the less-privileged in the society.
