Kirfi LG Chairman felicitates with Gov Bala on conferment of honorary doctorate degree

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Kirfi local government area of Bauchi state, Honourable Abdulqadeer Umar Dewu (Wakilin Fulanin Bauchi) has congratulated Governor Bala Mohammed for been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Bauchi State University Gadau (BASUG).

“The conferment of honoris causa on His Excellency by the Bauchi State University, Gadau is indeed both timely and deserving”, Dewu who is a former Bauchi state house of assembly member said in a press statement Monday.

“While we congratulate His Excellency on this epoch making achievement, we appreciate the foresight displayed by the University in identifying a personality of his pedigree and antecedent going by His Excellency’s commitment to education and institutional capacity building”, Hon. Dewu further noted.

According to him, it demands no efforts to see the visible changes in education ranging from infrastructure to services regardless of level.

“Bauchi is breathing the air of freedom courtesy of His Excellency’s initiative translating into a basically changed framework that manifest in large scale intervention in areas of health, education, security and road and related infrastructure all guided by his commitment to ensure a greater Bauchi state”, Hon Dewu stated.

He added that every single day, the state’s major development indicators are improving, saying despite the demographic adjustments that made Bauchi population grows geometrically, Bala Mohammed, has been constantly working round the clock to see that the institution of governance remains responsive to the needs of our people.

“We shall continue to appreciate His Excellency for making us proud through development projects that will last centuries and define our appearance on development landscape of Nigeria”, the LG chairman stated.
