Misau Health College commissions permanent site, receives prayers from Ulamas

The Management of Misau College of Health Science and Technology on Monday performed the Commissioning ceremony of its permanent site with prayers and lectures delivered by some Islamic clerics invited within the host Communities.
Speaking in an interview with newsmen, the Registrar of the College, Ahmad Mohammed Sabo said that the proprietor, having put the required infrastructure on ground, decided to invite Islamic clerics for prayers so that Allah will make the Institution to succeed.
“Today, been Monday 4 September, 2023 we commissioned this permanent site of the college. As we all know, initially the college was situated along Matawalle road, what we call, the annex building”, he said.
According to the Registrar, with the effort of the proprietor, the building of the permanent site started two years ago, adding that it has been completed.
“Today, Alhamdulillah we have commissioned the building. The proprietor decided that instead of holding a ceremonial occasion to mark the commencement of the use of the building, decided to invite some scholars and stakeholders from the host Communities for prayer session”, he said.
The Registrar further explained that Chief Immam of Misau Central Mosque, Mallam Usman Baba, Chief Imam of Water board, Mallam Shafi’i, JIBWIS Mosque, Barr. Mohammed Hamma, Dr Abubakar Hamza, Mallam Abdullahi Zakariyya, among others delivered lectures and offered advise to the management of the college.
“They also led the college management in prayers, they prayed for the proprietor, they prayed for the success of the college, they prayed for the father of the proprietor and the management. We thank Allah for making the event a successful one”, the Registrar stated.
Ahmad Mohammed Sabo who said that the event marks the resumption of students for the 2023/2024 academic session, said classes have been open with some lecturers fully on ground for business.
“So, lectures for the 2023/2024 academic session commenced officially today (Monday). We solicit for the support of the host Communities in securing the college”, he said.
On his part, the Proprietor of the college, Ahmed Yahaya while appreciating God for making the project a reality, described it as a dream come true.
He noted despite not completing the project totally, the management felt this is the right time to start using the permanent site for the purpose it was designed for.
“I thank God for this day and I really appreciate the Immams that were here to pray for the success of the college”, the Proprietor said.
He called on the staff of the college to redouble their efforts in ensuring the progress of the college and the students to pay keen attention to their studies, adding that the students are lucky to have the staff that are up to the task.
