Misau LG chairman inaugurate Deputy Chairman and 16 Councilors, appeals for Team work

The newly elected Executive Chairman, Misau local Government of Bauchi state, Hon Salisu Hussaini Hardawa has yesterday sworn-in the newly elected members of local government council.
Performing the inauguration ceremony on Sunday 18th August, 2024 at the Local Government secretariat in Misau, the chairman appealed for team work to move the LG forward.
In the swearing in event was attended by government functionaries, party loyalists and stakeholders, the Chairman pledged his commitment to good governance and lawful adherence to local government autonomy.
He reminded the Councillors that they were elected to serve the people and ensure that their basic needs are met, such as access to healthcare, education and welfare.
Also speaking, the PDP chairman of Misau local government area, Hon Abdul Haruna called on the party members to cooperate with elected chairman and his council members by offering them useful advice.
He also appreciated the effort of Hon Suleiman Mohammed Bello (Raya karkaran Misau) for accepting defeat and joining the winning train for governance to continue.
Among those who attended the ceremony were Alh Mohammed yarima (Sa’in Misau), Head of administration of Misau local Government, among others.
