Misau Model school graduates 250 students, reels out achievements

Misau Model Academy has during its 6th and 7th Graduation ceremony on Sunday, graduated 250 children in both secondary and Primary section of the school.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony on Sunday, the proprietor of the school, Alhaji Ahmed Yahaya Misau ( Dan Amar of Misau), applauded the performance of the school children, noting that they have made the school proud.
The proprietor stated that since inception, the management of the school has recorded tremendous achievements that have kept the school moving forward.
He pointed out that, in its effort, the management has ensured that the digitalization of the school continued to receive due attention.
“Almost all basic operations have been digitalized. In fact, subject allocation, lesson and examination timetables, compilation of terminal results and other routine operations continued to be in
digital form”, he said.
Alhaji Ahmed Yahaya Misau who explained that target and target evaluation has been introduced such that teachers are made to set achievable academic targets at the beginning of every term.
“The targets are
evaluated at the end of the term. This enables the teachers to achieve the basic learning objectives as provided in the National Curriculum”, he said.
According to the proprietor, supervision and inspection have also been enhanced by ensuring that teaching and learning activities, lesson plans and other school records continued to be supervised regularly.
Alhaji Ahmed Yahaya Misau said that the school management has worked towards total eradication of vernacular speaking among the school children.
Addressing the graduands, Alhaji Ahmed Yahaya Misau reminded them that completion of Secondary School Education is another milestone in their academic pursuit.
While informing them that the race for education which is hectic has just began in their lives, the proprietor prayed for their future success.
