MSSN Bauchi poly organizes 1-day graduation Walima, launches magazine

The Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic’s chapter of Muslims’ Student Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Bauchi, has organised a one day Walima graduation and lunching of magazine ahead of the last semester session for 2020/2021 academic session for HND and ND students.
During the event, funds were also expected to be raised for the installation of solar power system in the polytechnic’s central mosque.
Speaking at the occasion, the Distric head of Miri, Alhaji Hussaini Abubakar Usman who centered his lecture on the need for the students to know the importance of the MSSN welcomed the dignitaries at the event.
He said MSSN was formed to promote and instill into the Muslim ummah love of Islam, calling on Muslims to uphold with firm, the holy Qur’an as it is unadulterated.
The District Head prayed Allah for a successful completion of the occasion.
Earlier in his remark, the Rector of the polytechnic, Alh. Dr. Adamu Saidu who was represented by the former deputy Rector, Dr. Abdulmajid Jamal Abubakar called on the official of the MSSN to sustain such tempo.
He urged them to be good ambassadors of their School, stressing the need for them to respect their parents and to further their education as the school management is committed to help them achieve their dreams.
Lunching the magazine, the managing Director and Publisher of the Magazine, Alh. Abdullahi Muhammad represented by Sheikh Muhammad Yahuza Bauchi wished the students the best of luck and prayed Allah to bless what they have learnt.
He added that the students should always consider the importance of education in their life.
On his part, the special guest of honour of the event, Sheikh Imam Abubakar Bala Gaha who was represented by Sheikh Hafiz Ismail Mangu delivered an extensive lecture titled “importance of Education”.
He Quoted some relevant verses from the Holy Quran which talked on the importance of education to Prophet Muhammad S. A. W when he was in the cave of HIRA , saying seeking knowledge is compulsory on every Muslim male or female.
He added that some people among the Muslim ummah are physically challenged but such condition should not deter them from seeking knowledge.
Sheikh Hafiz however quoted tradition of Prophet Muhammad which says he who follows path of seeking knowledge goes a long way of leading one to paradise.
He called on the muslims to pray fervently for the country to overcome its numerous challenges of insecurity.
In his Vote of thanks, the Dean students’ affairs, Dr. Damjuma Maijama’a commended all those that honored the invitation.
He called on the students to put into practice what they have learnt while in the school and that of the walima graduation, praying Allah to return them back home safely.
In his closing remarks, the Registrar of the institution, Abdullahi Alh. Adamu appreciated the guests from within and outside the state and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
The event attracted dignitaries from within and outside the polytechnic to include, the Distric head of Miri Alh. Husssaini Abubakar Usman, Alh.Garba Adamu Yayaji Sarkin Mu’allayidi, the Registrar of the polytechnic, the Dean students’ Affairs, Dean school of science Mal. Laminu Musa among other lecturers within the institution.
Highlight of the event was Recitation of the Holy Qur’an from some of the MSSN members as well as donation of cash and pledges from different guests at the occasion.
