NACDPAMN Hails President Tinubu Over Jega’s Livestock Committee Appointment

Cattle dealers, processors and marketers in Nigeria have expressed their pleasure with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Professor Jega’s competence and capacity to drive significant reforms within the livestock industry.

The National Association of Cattle Dealers, Processors, and Marketers of Nigeria (NACDPAMN) described
Professor Jega is a man of exceptional integrity and proven leadership.

The association members in a press statement made available to Journalists Sunday said, “We are optimistic that under his co-chairmanship, the Presidential Committee on Livestock will effectively address the longstanding issues affecting herders and farmers”.

The statement was signed by the association national president, Alh. Ilyasu Bulama noted with delight that the appointment of Professor Jega on the committee signified a promising step towards sustainable solutions and advancements in the Nigerian livestock sector.

The National Association of Cattle Dealers, Processors, and Marketers of Nigeria (NACDPAMN), the umbrella body for all associations within the cattle value chain in Nigeria.

Recall that the Presidential Committee on Livestock was inaugurated on 23rd July 2024 at NICON Luxury Abuja, with NACDPAMN standing as a critical stakeholder in the livestock sector.
