NCCE Accredits All Programmes In ASCOEA, Azare

The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) has granted full accreditation to all the programmes run by Aminu Saleh College of Education, ASCOEA, Azare in Bauchi state.
The Register of ASCOEA, Suleiman Shehu announced this development while speaking with journalists yesterday, he revealed that the Commission’s approval was contained in a letter sent to the College.
He said the approval followed the recommendations of the Academic Programmes Department.
The institution’s Provost, Prof. Asabe Sadiya Mohammed, said that the 2024 accreditation, the College and all its 24 programmes were fully accredited by the NCCE.
She added that the accreditation was courtesy of hard work, commitment, dedication and cooperation of stakeholders during the exercise.
She enjoined members of staff and students in the College to consolidate on this development by ensuring good service delivery through maintaining a high level of integrity.
“These giant steps in the College have charted a new course preparatory for the next level, with the accreditation, the College is able to further bring critical innovations in teacher education programmes,” she said.
Prof. Asabe Sadiya further said that the college was committed to providing quality teacher education, as skilled teachers were not only crucial to the country’s economic growth but they also determined the country’s capacity to attain sustainable development.
The Provost commended the state governor Bala Muhammad for his efforts in achieving this success and his support to the college.
