Newly appointed ES for Dambam LG resumes office

The Newly appointed Education Secretary for Dambam local government area of Bauchi state, … has resumed duty.
He was received in a courtesy visit by the Executive Chairman of the local government, Honourable Yakubu Garba Tela (Wakilin Kare Karen Misau) in his office on Tuesday.
Speaking during the courtesy visit, the Education Secretary Mal Musa wakili Jalam said the aim of the visit was to seek for advice, guidance and counseling of the local government chairman to help him in the discharge of his responsibility.
While responding, the Executive Chairman welcomed the ES on behalf of the people of Dambam local government area.
He advised to be honest and dedicated to his constitutional mandate in order to move education forward in the area.
The Chairman also enjoined primary school teachers to continue with the hardwork they are known for, assuring the ES that his doors are always opened for constructive advice towards the development of the local Government and state at large.
“We should understand that education at the local level is the Grassroot and foundation of education. We must coordinate and make sure we promote it” the LG Chairman said.
The LG Chairman who emphasized that Primary education is free and compulsory, called on parents and guardians to ensure that they enroll their wards and monitor to ensure they attend classes regularly.
He prayed for the newly posted ES to succeed in his new area of assignment.
