NMA Sec. Gen. Aspirant Dr Egbo Congratulates Nigerians on New year

As part of the new year Jan 1st 2024 celebrations, an aspirant for the National office of Secretary General of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) at the on coming NMA biennial elections in April 2024, Dr Ben Egbo has congratulated Nigerians for surviving all the challenges of life in the outgoing year 2023.

In a report released to journalists from the precincts of the ZUMA ROCK RESORT where he is currently on vacation with his family members, Dr Egbo, reiterated that Nigerians should appreciate the Almighty God for seeing them through last year 2023 and welcome the opportunity to witness the year 2024 with hope and determination and zest.

He said since the year 2023 has come with its numerous challenges, there is the need for Nigerians to pray fervently for the success of the forthcoming year 2024, from the currency change saga to the dramatic increase in the fuel pump price, Nigerians have weathered the storms with equanimity.

He also used the opportunity to call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the Honourable Minister of Health (HMOH) Prof Ali Pate , to pay deliberate and urgent emphasis to the remuneration of Doctors and indeed all other health care workers in Nigeria, in order to stem this humongous, unwarranted and ultimately detrimental JAPA SYNDROME, that is now afflicting the Nigerian health care system with deleterious effects.
Calling on all Nigerians to pray for our motherland to overcome its present challenges, Dr Egbo stated conclusively that, since, with God all things are possible, therefore, with hard work, perseverance, determination, and fear of God, year 2024 shall definitely be better for all..
