NMCN concludes basic training in Bauchi

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has officially concluded a Basic Nursing and Midwifery programs conducted at various institutions.

Head of Information and Protocol of the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Azare made this known in a press release on Thursday in Bauchi.

He said that the the program has now been upgraded to National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Nursing.

He said that the Provost of the Adamu Adamu college of Nursing and sciences operating in the FMC, Dr. Adamu Alhaji, stated this in an interview with newsmen recently.

“Dr. Adamu Alhaji emphasized that individuals aspiring to enroll in the Nursing/Higher National Diploma program must successfully write and pass JAMB Examinations before seeking admission”, the head of information protocol said.

The Provost stressed that the step is crucial to meet the admission requirements, with applicants required to attain the necessary points in their JAMB Examination.
