Philanthropist Garo donates Hospital equipments to FMC Misau

A philanthropist, Honourable Abba Garo (Basko Mangari) has gifted vital equipments and items to the Newly established Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Misau, Bauchi state as it commenced Clinical services.

Responding to the gesture, Dr. Yakubu Shirama, Head of Clinical Services expressed gratitude to Hon Garo for the donation.

The equipments donated include 1 office chair, 2 wheel chairs, 1 Optilux 501 (Dental Machine) and 1 Timer Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The items donated comprised of 2 cartons of Disposable sterile gown, 1 carton of 3m face mask, 2 packs of disposable face mask and 1 carton of Face shield.

Our Correspondent further reports that medical Supplies made available to the hospital include 6 Sterile C/S set, 4 pieces of virginal speculum, 1 pack of Cotton tipped applicator, 3 packs of examination gloves, 1 pack of sterile adhesive plaster, 1 carton of sterile drape (Disposable), 1 carton of digital thermometer and 2 Alcohol pad.

The head of clinical services said that the generous contribution will significantly improve FMC Misau’s capacity to deliver quality healthcare services.

“It’s wonderful to see individuals like Hon. Abba Garo supporting healthcare initiatives in Nigeria”, Dr Yakubu stated.
