Planned Nationwide protest: Zaar Youth group directs members to stay off

As the planned Nationwide protest scheduled for 29 July 2024 draws closer, the office of the National Leadership of Zaar Youth Development Association (ZAYODA) situated at its headquarters in Tafawa Balewa local government area of Bauchi has directed its members to ensure total abstinence.

The National Leader of the Association, Comrade Ga’allah Daniel who gave the directive in a press statement during the weekend, said that the call was with deep concern and commitment to ensuring peace within the communities.

Tagged: “A Call for Restraint from the Planned Nationwide Protest Dated 29th July, 2024, Comrade Daniel urged the youth not to join the protest in order to avoid adding to the already deteriorating security situation in the land.

He explained that the call was with deep concern and commitment to peace and growth of Zaar community, Bauchi State and the Nation at large.

“I wish to write and call on all Zaar Youth that none of us should participate in any protest because of the security instability in the Nation”, he said.

According to him, ZAYODA does not believe that protest is the way forward to correcting the ailing economy of the country.

“Don’t be a victim of circumstance as so many bad elements will hide under the guise of protest to commit crimes that might land many to jail or even death, God forbid”, he said.

“We are calling with a strong voice that we stay off and cooperate with relevant security agencies in ensuring a sustainable peace, as that is the only way forward to growth and stability of every Nation”, the ZAYODA Leader noted.
