Sen. Jika empowers 5,000 constituents in Bauchi

Sen. Haliru Jika, ( APC -Bauchi Central) on Saturday, distributed empowerment items to five thousand members of his constituency.

Our correspondent reports that the empowerment items are 100 Tricycles, 150 Motorcycles, 500 Sewing Machines and 400 Grinding Machines.

Others are 200 Desktop Computers 1,000, Herbicide Sprayer, 1000 bags of Fertiliser and 150 Wheelchairs among others in Darazo local government area of Bauchi State.

Jika , speaking at the inauguration of the distribution of the items under Dokajin Bauchi 5000 Beneficiaries Empowerment Program 2022, said the empowerment was aimed at making the beneficiaries self-reliant.

He urged the constituents, particularly youths, to ensure they got their voters cards and support the APC at all levels in the coming 2023 general elections.

Speaking, Alhaji Abdullahi Matori, Chairman Steering Committee of Jika for Governorship , said time had come when every member of the APC had to wake up and work to ensure the victory of the party in the next coming election in the state.

He urged APC members to use the opportunity to bring APC back to power in Bauchi state.

Some of the beneficiaries, Hajara Aliyu of Kwankeyal and Ahmadu Yusufari from Misau local government areas, expressed appreciation for the gesture

They promised to make good use of the items given to them and assured their total support to the senator, come 2023 general elections
