The Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO) Ningi branch conducted it’s first meeting on Saturday.
The NYO was founded with the belief that the youth as a class, have a common destiny and obligation to society, the nation and humanity at large. Atop of this, is the organisation’s desire to serve as a catalyst for the promotion of peace and unity in Nigeria and to serve as facilitator for inter element/system dialogue, all in order to foster ideal and harmonious form of living among Nigerians.
Speaking during the meeting, the acting chairman Ningi branch of the organization, Comrade Nuraddeen Bello, revealed that the organization aimed at unifying the goals of the millions and increasing number of youths who are independently sheltered in Nigeria’s divergent socio-political and religious circles, equally too, to provide a common and logical platform for the diverse youths of this great Nation.
Also in his comment Doctor Gaddafi Yusuf Muhammad, also said the activities of NYO would centered on supporting the developmental policies and programs as well as to attract government’s attention on the needs of the Nigerian youths
During the deliberation, the participants at meeting pledged to contribute their quota in whatever course towards the development of the organization.
Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO) established on 4th December 1980 as a Trustee-based Youth Development and a National Non-Governmental Organisation. It was officially incorporated in November 1997 under PART C of the Companies And Allied Matters Act, 1990, (CAP C20, LFN 2004) with Registration Certificate Number: 5257.
