We’re Bracing Up To Deepen Internal Democracy Ahead Future Elections, Says Bauchi LP

The Bauchi State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has stated that the party’s leadership and other stakeholders are tirelessly to deepen democratic practices within the party and brighten its chances towards future elections in the state and the country at large.

The acting chairman of the party in Bauchi, Mr Sabitu Aliyu made this known while addressing party supporters, support groups, some party members that aspired for various positions in the last general elections.

The party members among other stakeholders of the party across 20 local government areas of the state were gathered for a Sallah/Easter get together organised at the party’s secretariat, Bauchi weekend.

According to him, the leadership of the party is working tirelessly not only to ensure that the members are united but to brighten its chances in future elections in Bauchi state and in the country in general.

Sabitu who described the LP as a party with so much promise, said that informed the reason they are assiduously working to bring everyone on board towards a successful outing come 2027.

The LP chairman also enjoined all the aggrieved party stakeholders to think of the party above all other interests.

The Acting chairman who gave reasons for the popularity of the LP than other political parties in the country, said the party’s popularity stems from the frustration of Nigerians with other political parties, including the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

According to him, “The future of Labour Party is bright. Nigerians have tried PDP and APC and are now more aware, informed and more experienced, and they now know better that the only hope of the common man is the Labour Party”, he said.

He assured Nigerians that the Labour Party is aware of the problems, challenges that have been identified to be bedeviling Nigerians, saying that the LP has put modalities and mechanisms on ground to tackle them if given the opportunity to pilot the Affairs of Nigeria.
