Why I want to succeed former speaker Dogara – Danmalikin Dass

The frontrunner for the PDP House of Representatives seat for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency Mr. Samuel Lawal said he is aspiring to succeed the former speaker Dogara Yakubu in order to further improve the well-being of his people.
The house of representatives hopeful stated this while addressing PDP stakeholders and delegates in Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa local government areas of Bauchi state on Monday.
Mr. Samuel Lawal pledged to help facilitate the improvement of digital literacy and the digital economy of his constituents if given the mandate in 2023.
He said by improving the digital and economic literacy of his people, their economic standard and development will be accelerated
The house of representatives aspirant who was in contact-making with party stakeholders and delegates across the three LGs ahead of the party primaries, described delegates as key players in ensuring the victory of every aspirant
While noting that the National Assembly has a significant role to play in improving the nation’s performance, Lawal said his goal is to change the narrative by actively participating in discussions and law-making process that will improve the well-being of the people of his constituency if elected.
Mr. Samuel Lawal said his agendas are creating job opportunities to Women and Youths as well as making infrastructure available to the electorates.
“We have all it takes to be great in Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa local government areas. If elected in 2023, I will make our constituency the highest agricultural production hub in the country”, Lawal assured.
According to him, lack of job opportunities has put the future of youths in danger, hence the need to create a holistic way of addressing the challenge.
The house of representatives aspirant who promised to address the issue if given the mandate, urged the people of his constituency to support his mission in order to build a better future for them.
The Danmalikin Dass who commended Governor Bala Muhammed and the state party Chairman Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam for creating a level playing ground to contest in the forthcoming party primaries, promised to compliment their effort in moving the party, state and the country forward.
In his contribution during the meeting former head of service Dr. Bala Lukshi dricribed Mr. Samuel Lawal, as a man who has come at the right time to build on the good legacies of the past leaders in the area of Peace building and job creation as well as infrastructural development.
Dr. Bala Lukshi while commending the previous house of representatives members for their sacrifice and commitment, solicited for their support towards the success of Lawal.
During the meeting some of the delegates pointed out that the house of representatives seat is a rotational one between the three local governments which started from Dass by former member Hon. Dauda Garba Bundot, followed by Hon. Seth Alhassan Karfe from Tafawa Balewa and is currently in Bogoro.
They enjoined the people of the three local government areas that constitute the constituency to consider the agreement for the smooth rotation.
In a vote of thanks on behalf of the delegates and party officials, Hon. B. Bala from Tafawa Balewa thanked the aspirant and his entourage for the visit, promising to give him the necessary support towards in order to actualize his ambition.
