Xmas: Over 2, 000 Christians Benefits From Tuggar Foundation Relief Distribution

About two thousand persons benefited from the Ambassador Yusuf Tugga Foundation distribution of foodstuffs to the Christians faithful in nine Local Government Areas of Bauchi state to put a smile on many homes during this year’s Christmas ceremony.
It is an annual event by the foundation to distribute such relief materials to both Christians and Muslims faithful during their annual festivities such as the Christmas and Eid-fitr or Eid-Kabir.
Speaking during the flag of distribution on Sunday, Secretary General of Tuggar Foundation and overseen the activities of the foundation said Ahmad Mohammed Dan Masanin Tilde the items which included rice, spaghetti, and macaroni to the beneficiaries.
He added that despite the recent demise of Alh. Bello Tukur, the foundation found it necessary to conduct the annual exercise.
Mr Ahmad outlined the items distributed to include rice over 300 of 25kg of bags, spaghetti over 350 cartons, macaroni over 350 cartons among others food items in addition to token cash to the beneficiaries in nine local government areas of the areas of the state.
The benefitting local government in the state are Dass, Tafawa Balewa, Bogoro, Dambam, Katagum, Gamawa, Alkaleri, Toro, Warji and Bauchi.
According to him, the items distributed were meant to mark forthcoming Christmas celebration and to extend a hand of friendship from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar.
Ahmad also urged Christians to pray for Nigeria’s leaders for them to put in place policies that have direct impact on the lives of the Nigerian people.
A beneficiary, Simon Okpanachi from Bauchi LGA who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the minister, saying they were glad and happy about the gesture, saying it is not the first the Ambassador Tuggar is extending the gesture to them.
