Yarima Nuhu Wabi, Emerged New Emir Of Jama’are

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has today appointed the Yarima Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi as the new Emir of Jama’are.
Presenting letter of appointment to the new Emir Bala Muhammad represented by the Secretary to the State Government Barister Ibrahim Kashim at the Emirs Palace Jama’are congratulates the new Emir.
Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi succeeded his late father Alhaji Muhammad Wabi who died on 22nd February, 2022 after a protracted illness.
The new Emir defeated other contestants to emerged the tenth Emir of Jama’are.
In his speech, the new Emir Nuhu Ahmad Wabi, thanked God Almighty for choosing him out of many contestants and pledged to carry all along.
While fielding question from journalists, the new Emir said he will be just, fair and transparent to all citizens in his kingdom and urged for prayers, support as well as advices to move the emirate forward.
Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Wabi aged 61 year, attended both Islamiyya and Western education.
He holds many positions during his service career in state and federal governments, he retired as permanent secretary in 2016.
Until his appointment he was the District Head of Jama’are.
It could be recalled that the late Emir Muhammad Wabi, who died on the 22th February ruled for 52 years and was the longest serving ruler in the history of the state.
