You’re not fit to criticize Gov Bala – Pro-Bauchi Gov hits Senator Buba

A die-hard supporter of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state, Honourable Sulaiman Musa Mai Poster has blasted Senator Representing Bauchi South at the National Assembly, Shehu Buba Umar for his recent outburst against the Governor.

Mai Poster who is the Chairman of Democracy and Good Governance Forum, North East, described as unpatriotic, the assertions by the senator objecting the Governor’s observations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s address few days after the Endbadgovernance turned violent in some parts of the country.

Democracy and Good Governance Forum, North East, is a political group that promotes monitoring and supervising the developmental Strides of political leaders in Nigeria.

It could be recalled that, Governor Bala Mohammed has while flagging-off PDP Campaign ahead of the 17th August local elections and presentation of flags to all the candidates of the party pointed out that the President’s speech was nothing but empty stuff that failed to address the current situation in the country.

However, the APC in Bauchi State through Sen Shehu Buba during its campaign flagged off and presentation of Flags to its candidates, came hard on Governor Bala Mohammed for describing the President’s speech as empty.

Mai Poster who spoke through a press statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, hit back at the senator, saying that he lacks the Audacity to criticize the Governor.

According to him, the recent comment by the Governor where he observed some of the lapses of the President and his failure to address the genuine and real reasons that ignited the protest in the first instance shouldn’t be politicized.

He further explained that the Governor’s comments was nothing but telling the truth to Powers which many leaders find it difficult to do regarding the current Nigeria’s predicament.

The group maintained that Governor Mohammed, a one term senator, minister and now governor, has the requisite knowledge and the technical know how to address the challenges rising from his the much talk about doctrine of necessity during the late president Umar Yar’adua’s tenure all for the good of the country and not his personal interest.

While warning the Senator to know that the Governor is not his political mate by age and experience, Mai Poster reminded him that the Governor brought the senator to limelight when he appointed him as caretaker committee chairman of Toro local government area.

He added that the people of Bauchi State and Nigerians have heard the governor and have realized that the President’s speech actually failed to address the current situation as many have also observed.

“Please look at the current hardship, it is the result of bad economic policies of the APC”, he said .

Mai Poster said God has blessed Bauchi state with a credible leader that has his people and Nigeria at heart who deserve listening ears from the presidency and the APC as a party.

Mai Poster who emphasized that the Governor deserve commendation from the APC led federal government, said the developmental Strides of Governor Bala Mohammed in the critical of the economy are every where for people to see and adjudged.

He recalled that the same APC government during former president Mohammadu Buhari awarded Governor Mohammed with the “Best Governor” title in rural infrastructure.

He said that the current President, Tinubu recently presented on the governor, an award as the best performing governor on urban renewal.

“I listened with wrapped attention the accusations by the Distinguished Senator Shehu Buba who said he took the governor to the current national security Adviser to the President, Malam Nuhu Ribadu where he took him to Bola Ahmed Tinubu to beg for his support and I asked rethoritically ” where was TINUBU in 2019? The ordinary leader of APC that was without portfolio?” Mai Poster said.

He advised the senator to accept the fact that he was appointed by governor Mohammed as the caretaker committee chairman of Toro local government.

“If it’s so, then how can he said they started politics together? Mai Poster wondered.

The group applauded the various efforts put in place by the Bauchi State government to contain the protest which yielded positive result by minimizing the level of damage in Azare where it turned violent.

“We thought the President and the APC would make use of the advice offered freely by the Governor and reverse some of the decisions that brought Nigeria to its current predicament since hunger and anger doesn’t differentiate”, Mai Poster said.

The group which noted that democracy as the government of the people, by the people and for the people guarantees free expression, Free speeches and assembly among others, called on the Senator to go and recorrect his facts as Governor Bala stands by what he observed

Mai Poster further urged the general public to disregard the Senator’s criticism as an adage say “idan ma fadi Wawane Mai ji ba Wawa bane”.

He said that the people of Bauchi and beyond are aware of the many developmental projects and achievements of Governor Bala Mohammed across the state.

Mai Poster pointed out that the the people of Bauchi State are living witnesses to where and when their funds are being utilize for the rapid socioeconomic development of the state unlike that if the APC that has caused untold hardships on the masses.
