The APC Youth Ambassadors has canvasses for the appointment by Nigerian Amiable President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti to the substantive Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), one of the country’s economic wherewithal.

Based upon the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), the appointment of incumbent Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, Limited (NNPC-L), Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, is expected to wind up any moment from now.

The Ambassadors national coordinator, Haruna Mohammed therefore pleaded with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider merit in the appointment to this globally demanding position of the Company’s GMD on Bala Maijama’a Wunti whom, he said, is equal to the task.

Ambassador Haruna Mohammed explained that the appointment of Wunti to this all-encompassing position will open more new frontiers in the industry to make the national pulse swell more in revenue generation for the socioeconomic, infrastructural and political transformation of the country.

“It is ardently hope that our deeply listening-ears Mr. President, His Excellency, Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR) will critically look into this wide-ranging demand of doing the necessary thing for the country”, ambassadors plea with Tinubu.

According to the group, Bala Wunti’s impressive track record in the oil and gas industry, spanning over three decades, makes him an ideal candidate for the position.
