2023: Bauchi APC Guber Candidate Wants Involvement Of All

Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed his appreciation to the entire Bauchi state for providing the peaceful and conducive atmosphere that saw his emergence as the gubernatorial flagbearer of the party ahead of the 2023 polls.
In the same token, the ambassador also commended aspirants to the governorship seat for spirit of togetherness they demonstrated in the conduct of the primary elections, saying “We all came out to add value to the society, to ensure that we get our people to an environment that would enable them pursue their legitimate aspirations.
The Bauchi APC governorship candidate was through the press conveying his general appreciation to the party juggernauts and the various segments of people who in one way or the other immensely contributed to his victory at the primary elections.
The gubernatorial candidate said however that the gamut of his would be government requires the active participation or involvement of each and every member of the Bauchi society and even beyond to really reach out and make sure everybody is able to put in some ideas on how to resolve issues or problems at stake.
“I want to assure all members of the APC that whatever we want to do, we are going to involve everybody. The problems we are facing in our society today are problems that you cannot solve alone as an individual or as a government. You need the involvement of all the people”, he said.
Ambassador Siddique Abubakar told party faithful at all levels, “The party contributed immensely to what we saw as primary elections that we held. I’m very happy with the relationship and I want to assure that we will work together as a family, working together hand-in-hand in order to ensure that we are able to address the fundamental problems that are facing our people in Bauchi state”.
Ambassador explained that if eventually elected as the next governor of Bauchi state, his administration would attach great priority to healthcare services, education, youths’ employment, among others, expressing worrisome that only 29.9% of school-age children are attending schools.
He also commended the media for the role it has been playing in stabilizing the polity, saying “We cannot underrate the critical role the media plays, journalists have fundamental role to play for whatever we are trying to achieve. I’m sure you will join the project so as to add value to the society”.
