2023: I’ll Create Emirate For You If You Vote, Gov Assures Dambam People

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi has thrown an electoral challenge to the people of Dambam Local Government Area in the state that if the massively voted him into office for a second term tenure comes 11th March gubernatorial elections, he would elevate the Dambam district head status to that of second or first class Emir.
“If you massively vote for me and your aggregate votes surpass that of my Duguri ancestral district in the 11th March governorship election, be rest assured that I will create an emirate for you with a second or first class status”, he told the Dambam people.
Governor Bala was speaking at a rally in Dambam yesterday on the second leg of his gubernatorial campaign tour transcending the Bauchi Central senatorial district.
Senator Bala Mohammed who enumerated the enormous democracy dividends he provided to the Dambam people, however observed that had his administration federal credence such as members of the National Assembly (Senate/Reps), the achievements would have been unprecedented in the political history of the state.
The governor therefore implored upon the people of Dambam to ensure that they vote for the PDP from top to bottom come the general elections for economic prosperity, empowerment, and continued provision of basic amenities to the people generally.
In another development Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has led his top government officials during the commissioning ceremony of Dagauda Model Health care in Dambam local government area of the state.
Speaking during the ceremony, Baka Mohammed said his administration has made a giant stride in improving the healthcare delivery to citizenry, saying hundreds of facilities and general hospitals have been renovated, equipped and upgraded.
Governor Mohammed also commissioned Haladu Ayuba Model Primary School Dagauda, calling on residents to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring the classroom blocks are utilized properly to commemorate his administration’s commitment to upgrading the educational sector.
The project has three major components including Model Primary School, Primary Healthcare Center PHC as well as Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) under the Bauchi State, Federal Government and African Development Bank supported programme.
The Model Primary School Project comprises twenty six classrooms, ICT facilities, administrative block and staff quarters while twenty bed capacity PHC was equipped with State of the Art Medical facilities for effective service delivery.
Governor Bala Mohammed said similar facilities were provided in two other Local Government Areas of Giade and Alkaleri.
Bala Muhammad said Dagauda Community was chosen for the project considering its distance from the state capacity and limited access to quality education and healthcare services.
He charged the benefiting community and the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Local Government to protect the facilities provided for the benefit of future generations.
The Governor used the opportunity to solicit for support of his second term candidacy when he visited palaces of District Heads of Dambam and Mashema.
Governor Bala therefore advised the electorates in the state to vote for all PDP candidates including its presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to allow smooth running of government and provision of uninterrupted developmental projects.
According to him, a successful administration requires collective efforts from all political office holders through harmonious relationships and teamwork for the overall interest of citizens.
