Bauchi Gov sacks LG CTC Chairmen

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi has ordered the dissolution of 20 local government Caretaker Committee (CTC) Chairmen in the state.
As contained in a press release signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, the order takes immediate effect.
“His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, (Kauran Bauchi) the Executive Governor of Bauchi State has approved the dissolution of all the Local Government Caretaker Committee with immediate effect”, the order said.
According to the press release dated 18th July, 2023, the dissolution order followed the expiration of their tenure in office.
The dissolved LG Chairmen have been directed to hand over the affairs of the Local Governments to their respective Heads of Administration pending the appointment of substantive Caretaker Committees.
“Government wishes all the Local Government Caretaker Committees members success in their future endeavours, please”, the SSG said.
