Lawmaker applauds Bauchi Guber election tribunal for delivering fair judgement

The member house of representatives for Shira /Giade federal constituency, Honourable Sani Ibrahim Dan tanko has applauded the decision of the Bauchi state Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which affirms the election of Governor Bala Mohammed of the state on Wednesday.
Our Corresspondent reports that Governor Bala Mohammed who contested alongside his closest rivals, candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar and Hon Halliru Dauda Jika respectively, had his election victory in the February 18th general elections upheld by the the tribunal.
The Lawmaker while appreciatimg the state Governorship Tribunal over what he described as a hitch-Free and fear sitting throughout the period congratulated Governor Bala Muhammad for the victory.
Speaking to our Corresspondent in an interview on Friday, the Lawmaker urged Bala Mohammed to consolidate on the achievements so far attained during his first tenure in office.
Hon Ibrahim advised the Governor to continue with the construction of Rural roads within the state capital and its environs.
He reminded the governor that Zubo to Bukul roads in shira local government area of the state are one of the Roads he promised to Construct during his Electioneering campaigns.
He further assured the Governor of total support and respect from his Constituency shira/giade, noting that the Governor’s victory at the Tribunal is a great milestone to not only him but the entire people of the state.
The house of representatives member expressed hope that the governor’s second term will offer great testimony to the people of the state for his developmental strides.
He called on the entire Bauchi state people to continue cooperating with the state government for more democracy dividends.
