Senator Ningi urged to focus more on grassroots politics than Nat’l

The embattled Senator Representing Bauchi Central at the National Assembly, Abdul Ahmad Ningi has been advised to pay more attention to developing his constituency rather than focusing on National politics.
The Kakudi B. Ward Coordinator for the Senator, Ahmed Abdullahi (Alhajin Alaro) who made this known in an interview with Baushe Daily Times in Misau on Tuesday, appealed to Senator Ningi to focus on fulfilling the promises they made during the electioneering campaigns rather than channeling his energy to National politics which is yet to kickstart.
“If he will recall, we made promises to our people on so many issues. For now, our journey is too slow we better change to serious politics”, he said.
Recall that the Senator was recently suspended for three months as a punishment for blowing a whistle that the 2024 Nigerian budget was padded with N3.7 million.
The Kakudi B. Ward Coordinator who further observed the efforts of the senator towards fulfilling his campaign promises seem to be slow said assurance was given to the people of delivering the much-needed democratic dividends.
The Coordinator while commending the Senator for doing well in the National Politics, however, urged him to change his plan and pay more attention to his constituency.
According to him, the Senator was voted by the people at the local level, hence the need for him to focus on what will develop them as a people.
“He went there with our votes. As long as you forget the grassroots and go to the National level, it’s like forgetting the starting point”, Alhaji Alaro pointed out.
While calling on the good people of Kakudi, Chiroma constituency, and Misau local government as a whole to avoid politics that has no dividend and Development at all, Alaro appreciated the effort of Hon Bappah Aliyu Misau, member representing Misau/Dambam federal constituency for bringing so many developments to his constituency.
Alaro further called on all elected members of the National Assembly from Bauchi to copy Bappah Aliyu Misau for bringing laudable development to his constituency.
