Bauchi Lost Commissioner For Local Govt In Fatal Incident

The Bauchi state Commissioner ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Aliyu Ahmad Jalam is dead after a ghastly incident along Kari-Misau road in the state. 

The commissioner was said to have been involved in a fatal auto-crash on Saturday along Misau – Bauchi road on his way back to Bauchi from his town Jalam.

The chief information officer of state ministry for local government Mrs Khadija Hassan Kobi confirmed his death while speaking with our reporter on phone, saying the accident occurred on Saturday evening. 

She said he died along with his driver on their way back from Jalam to Bauchi after a weekend’s holiday.

She said that the corpses were evacuated to the general hospital, Darazo.
