Gov Bala signs 3 executive orders, vows decisive action against security sabotuers

Bauchi state Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed on Thursday expressed his administration’s renewed vigour to deal decisively with anyone found sabotaging security arrangement in the state.

The Governor made this known while signing three executive orders at the government house.

According to Bala Mohammed, his government will not waste time in taking strong measures against those who breach the law.

“I issue a stern warning that anyone found sabotaging the state’s security in any way will be dealt with rigorously”, the Governor further warned in a recent post on his Facebook page.

According to him, by taking decicive move against offenders, it will serve as a deterrent to others with similar attitude.

The three Executive Orders signed by the Governor include, an Executive Order on community and environmental protection, public safety and security, and the prohibition of deforestation in Bauchi State, an Executive Order to maintain a standard and unified method of measurement (Mudu) across the state as part of his leadership responsibilities and an Executive Order for the removal of illegal structures and buildings in the state’s road corridors, which have been encroached upon, posing security and environmental implications.

The Governor noted that noted his administration remain committed to revamping the state’s security, building modern markets, and enhancing the welfare of our citizens.

He emphasized that anyone found sabotaging or violating the laws will face the consequences.

The Governor also called for continued collaboration with stakeholders, specifically traditional institutions and religious groups.

He also warned tree fellers and charcoal sellers to refrain from encroaching upon forests and trees, saying that the government is resolute in addressing deforestation.
