Hon. Bobbo emerges as Bauchi PDP secretary

Honourable Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo has on Saturday, emerged as the Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi state.

The emergence of Bobbo as Secretary of the Bauchi state Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) followed the conduct of election for the New Executives that would pilot the affairs of the party for next four years.

The new EXCO of the PDP emerged unopposed with Pharmacist Samaila Burga as the Chairman.

The election was conducted under leadership of Ambassador Umar El Gash as the Chairman Electoral Committee during which all the contestants were returned unopposed.

The election brought in Pharmacist Sama’ila Burga, Alhaji Falalu Attah, Bakoji Aliyu Bobo as Chairman, Deputy chairman and Secretary respectively, among other EXCO members.

The electoral committee chairman, ambassador El Gash in his comment, enjoined the new executive of the party in Bauchi state to ensure accountability and transparency for Betterment of the party from the grassroot to national level.

Governor Bala Mohammed of the state who was represented by his Deputy, Rt. Hon Muhammad Auwal Jatau, congratulated the new EXCO for been elected unopposed, urging them to consolidate on the gains made by their predecessors.

Our Correspondent reports that the new Exco of the party took oath of office immediately after the election.
