TICAD, ICOHTECH collaborates to propel Learning Initiatives in Nigeria’s North-East

Two Non-Governmental organizations, The Inclusive Community for Advocacy and Development (TICAD) and the International College of Health Technology (ICOHTECH) have partnered with the aim of addressing various challenges in the educational sector, especially in North-Eastern states of Nigeria.

Christabel Nwagwu, the founder of TICAD who stated this during the inaugural ceremony of the educational project under the collaboration on Monday, added that, it will promote exchange of knowledge, best practices, and insights, and drive innovation in education and community development in the North-East.

Under the project, selected Communities in the North-East subregion of Nigeria are to benefit from
a transformative partnership which will drive educational development and promote sustainable educative learning indices.

This is in a bid to bridge learning gaps and foster education and learning in Nigeria which has brought together, The Inclusive Community for Advocacy and Development (TICAD) and the International College of Health Technology (ICOHTECH) in partnership.

The collaboration is set to make a significant impact in the underserved areas of Warji Local Government in Bauchi State.

Christabel Nwagwu emphasized that the project’s partnerships focuses on implementing interventions that will address Girl-Child education, skill development, EduTech innovation, and overall community empowerment.

On his part, Jimoh Shittu, the founder of ICOHTECH highlighted on the critical need for intervention and support in education in underserved regions.

He emphasized the importance of fostering collaborative partnerships between organizations to drive meaningful development in the educational sector.

This partnership between TICAD and ICOHTECH represents a strategic step towards achieving sustainable and impactful change in the Nigerian education landscape.

The cooperation between these two organizations signifies a shared commitment to improving access to quality education, promoting innovation in learning methodologies, and empowering communities through knowledge and skills development.

By leveraging their expertise and resources, TICAD and ICOHTECH are poised to set new standards for educational initiatives that prioritize inclusivity, excellence, and sustainability.

Rich Chidi, TICAD’s Co-founder, commended the partnership as a “watershed moment” in the organization’s history, signaling a major leap forward in its quest for transformative impact.
